Don worked in the private sector as a partner and managing director at Accenture. He served in higher education as the president Harold Washington, one of the City Colleges of Chicago, and Champlain College in Vermont. Don's non-profit experience includes leadership roles at Heartland Alliance, Civic Consulting Alliance, and Corporate Coalition of Chicago.

Don works with leaders and boards navigating change — in growth, in crisis, or anywhere the path forward isn't obvious. Engagements run from short, focused advisory work with a leadership team to interim executive roles (Chief Executive, Operating, or Program Officer) where the work calls for someone inside the org, not next to it.
